TU is a partner in a collaborative group that is working on removal of the lower 4 Snake River Dams.  TU and our partners are working on a plan that would remove the dams and also keep the current users of that resource whole.

Fish Habitat News
Christmas for Coho Begins January 8th.

Christmas for Coho is a holiday tree collection project that benefits juvenile fish habitat by placing christmas trees in select locations picked by our ODFW partners.

Trees will be collected on January 8th and 15th at Royal Treatment Fly shop and NW Fly Fishing Outfitters.  There are still a few volunteer shifts available.  If you want to help, contact Mike Gentry for details.

Christmas for Coho is a joint project between CRTU and Tualatin Valley TU.

Removing Small Dams Benefit Fish Migration

There are many fish passage barriers in our region.  Some are critical barriers as they impede adult spawning migration and prevent juvenlie migration and survival.

Check out the video below to see how small dams on critical tributaries are removed.
